Each warehouse facility is equipped with office spaces and amenities necessary for the convenience of personnel, contributing to time savings in the organization and management of workflows.
The complex is located in Karaganda, a strategically important hub of transport corridors in Kazakhstan, as well as China-Russia-Western Europe and Uzbekistan-Russia (Urals, Siberia).
The availability of rail and road access from multiple directions at the location of the Complex provides a significant competitive advantage for businesses. This ensures the prompt and efficient execution of logistical operations.

Technical equipment
During the design and construction phases, special attention was paid to the technical equipment of each warehouse.
The warehouses are equipped with:
- Ventilation systems;
- Volcano air-heating units;
- Automatic fire alarm and fire suppression systems;
- Video surveillance systems;
- Doorhan vehicle docks with thermal curtains and leveling platforms, allowing the handling of both heavy-duty trucks and vehicles with a payload capacity of up to 5 tons;
- Anti-dust flooring with a load capacity of 7 to 8 tons per square meter.
Class «A» warehouses are equipped with the anti-icing system «Teploskat», which prevents the formation of ice on roofs and gutters.
During the design and construction, particular emphasis was given to the equipment of the climate-controlled warehouse.
The warehouse is equipped with advanced monitoring and control systems. The systems continuously transmit temperature data in the storage facilities to be analysed by specialists. The automation quickly responds to temperature changes and automatically adjusts it to the required level. For these purposes, the warehouse is equipped with KFL refrigerating generators and at least twenty-three BITZER compressors, which maintain the required temperature even in the hottest weather conditions.
In addition to road transport, the warehouses are also serviced by rail transport. Railcars are delivered via a dedicated railway branch connecting Global City to the Maikuduk Station. All necessary loading and unloading equipment is available.
The warehouses have centralized heating, electricity, water supply, and sewage systems, with all operating expenses for these utilities borne by Global City.
The complex is under 24/7 security provided by its own licensed security company, whose rapid response team is always ready to act in case of an alarm activation or violations detected through the video surveillance system.
Cargo terminal
The infrastructure is supplemented with a highly efficient cargo terminal capable of receiving cargo 24 hours a day, with a container yard for 600 containers and a gantry crane, railway sidings, a customs control zone with a temporary storage warehouse and all the necessary handling equipment.

Expansion of warehouse infrastructure

Promising infrastructure
Global City, one of the top warehouse complexes in Central Kazakhstan, keeps on expanding its infrastructure.
From 2022 to 2024, two new warehouse complexes with a total area of 93,000 m² were built on sites located next to the existing infrastructure facilities of Complex No. 1 of Global City TLH.
GLOBAL CITY IS NOT PLANNING TO SLOW DOWN. IN THE NEAR FUTURE, IT IS PLANNED TO CONTINUE CONSTRUCTION AND EXPANSION OF WAREHOUSE INFRASTRUCTURE.
Expansion of the warehouse infrastructure will enable Global City to more than double its cargo handling and storage capacity.
Significant expansion of the Global City’s warehouse infrastructure will allow the complex to become the largest warehouse hub in Kazakhstan and an even more promising point in the logistics network.
To increase the cargo turnover of the existing Global City infrastructure, a railway ramp with 3 new railway sidings was built in 2023. This ramp significantly supplements the two sidings built earlier. The expanded capacity of the complex to accommodate up to 102 railcars simultaneously, has greatly enhanced the volume of cargo handled. One of the sidings is equipped with a hydraulic overpass for loading/unloading vehicles weighing up to 3 tons.
Moreover, the complex now includes a customs warehouse and two temporary storage warehouses for vehicles, rail-delivered cargo, and oversized freight.
Currently, new projects are underway to construct another logistics warehouse complex on an adjacent 25-hectare plot. The total warehouse area will amount to 100,000 m², significantly increasing the hub's cargo reception and storage capacity.
Also the Cargo Terminal No. 2 with a container yard of approximately 13,600 m² is planned to be build on the site. The rail freight handling capacity will be boosted by the construction of four additional railway sidings.
