About us

Multifunctional trade and warehouse center «Global City» is located in Karaganda city on the territory of 60 ha, it is one of the largest in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

«Global City» includes a warehouse complex of dry storage warehouses and climate warehouse, as well as cross-docks, two shopping centers, farmer’s center and 149 outdoor concession stands. There is a container yard with a gantry crane, a railway siding and all the necessary loading machinery. Additional warehouses from 3000 m² have been built onsite as customized.

The complex enables to get high-quality storage and goods transportation going, as well as get the best out of business processes, significantly increasing the GlobalCity partners’ performance efficiency.


 

Currently the development of the complex infrastructure is in progress. Several new warehouse terminals with a total area of up to 60,000 m² has started to be constructed.

To whom it may concern! Promising infrastructure

The geographical advantage of Karaganda is that it is located right in the middle of the republic. This makes the city a strategically important element of logistics. Karaganda is a large industrial, scientific and cultural urban conglomerate, which is the hub of the transport corridors of Kazakhstan, as well as China - Russia - Western Europe and Uzbekistan - Russia (Urals, Siberia).

The favorable geographical location provides Kazakhstan with potential access to the markets of the largest economies in the region - Russia and China, and also creates a transit and transport competitive strengths.

As a sales market, Karaganda is also of great interest, ranking the 4th in Kazakhstan in terms of population (600 thousand people, and with satellite cities - about 1 million people) - after Almaty, Shymkent and nearby Astana.

It is clear that the favorable location, developed trade and warehouse infrastructure, material and technical resources of the complex are its strengths for cooperation in organizing and doing business in the ground of the «Global City» Complex.

«Global City» offers cooperation in warehouse rental services in Karaganda.

Possible cooperation options:

  1. two-stage transition from renting a ready-for-service premises to renting a warehouse designed and built as customized;
  2. construction and leasing of a warehouse storage terminal originally designed as customized.

There are development available land plots adjacent to the area with the built-up infrastructure of GlobalCity, on which warehouses can be built as customized by interested companies.

To implement construction projects, GlobalCity has the construction company, as well as the steel structure plant, the sandwich panel plant, and the batch plant.

Currently, the first of 9 warehouse terminals planned for construction, with an area of 6500 m², is under construction.
